Binoy Bharathan was born and raised in Kerala, India. He completed a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and joined Government Engineering College, Kozhikode. But he chose to leave his degree to follow his dreams. His journey started with an affiliation in a million-dollar business plan by Dr. Boby Chemmannur, where he learned key skills in Sales, marketing and consulting. Today, Binoy runs several businesses in multiple sectors, and through his Edu-Tech platforms, thousands of people get access to high-quality skill development education.
Early life
In Kerala, the 10thgrade result is often treated as a milestone, and achieving full A+ brought an extra weight of expectations. During secondary school, Computer Science opened the door to a technical way of thinking, while Physics and Maths became favourite subjects. Success in science festivals, innovative projects, and connections with engineering students strengthened the dream of pursuing Mechanical Engineering.
The journey began with a Diploma at Kerala Government Polytechnic College (KGPTC), where three years in the National Service Scheme’s Technical Cell created a strong all Kerala network. Admission to Government Engineering College Kozhikode (GECK) marked a new phase, exploring small businesses such as designing, printing, and event coordination offering real-world market experience.
A major break came with Phygicart, an affiliate based physical and digital product platform introduced by Dr. Boby Chemmannur. Within the first year, a team of over 500 people across 14 districts and 4 states achieved sales exceeding over one crores.
